Yesterday was the most perfect beautiful day we've had in a long time. The temperature got up to about 80 degrees, the sun was shining brightly and there were a few puffy clouds in the sky. I used to long for cold winter days but since I had Ashley I've turned into a lover of warm summer days. There's something about seeing kids in little shorts and sun dresses while smelling coppertone that makes me smile. Yesterday made me pine for long days at the beach, BBQ's and popsicles. We decided to take advantage of our great neighborhood so we took Ashley to the little water park and we explored some new parks. It was so fun to get a glimpse into what the next few months will be like and I just can't wait. We capped the night off with some BBQ'd hot dogs (I just had to satisfy that craving). With all the fun we had Ashley never took a nap so she started to fall asleep after dinner and went from the highchair to Jason's lap and when we tried to get her up to go to bed she wiggled out of Jason's arms and onto the floor.
It was a great faux summer day.
